Lysine Complex™

Lysine is an essential protein amino acid needed by the body. It appears to help the body maintain a proper nitrogen balance and aids in the absorption of calcium. Lysine is needed in the production of antibodies, hormones, enzymes, and muscle protein thus maintaining a healthy immune system. It is critical to carbohydrate metabolism and so supports and promotes growth and energy production. Lysine has been shown to be effective in the healing of cold sores and canker sores.
