Maxi Health is proud to introduce our new relaxing formula, it has many more benefits then the name implies. A unique combination of Inositol, Suntheanine®, Taurine and Vitamin C. Each ingredient acts on improving diverse body functions.
L-Theanine - This amino acid’s ability to cross the blood brain barrier, improves cognition and mood (Biol. Psychol. 77, 2007).
It reduces mental and physical stress (Biol. Psychol. 74, 2006), has the ability of increasing the calming and optimum mind activating neurotransmitters, GABA, dopamine and most probably serotonin. (Jour. HERB. Pharm. 6).
As an alpha brain wave initiator (Clin. Neurophar. 30), learning, performance and concentration improve.
Extra benefits include: Anti-PMS and immune system stimulation.
Taurine - The second most abundant amino acid in the brain, acts as an inhibitory neurotransmitter (Amino Acid 23(4) 2002) providing a calming effect.
Taurine also works as an anti-anxiety agent in the central nervous system. (Kong, Chem Et Al 2006)
Inositol - sometimes called Vitamin B8 is a powerful brain food for nourishing the mind and modulating serotonin activity. Its’ supplementation has reduced symptoms of O.C.D. (Amer. Journal of Pyshc. 153, Fox. Et Al 1996).
