Lactobacillus sporogenes is an effective friendly bacteria that has been studied in the treatment of various gastrointestinal disturbances, and supports healthy digestion, offers relief from heartburn, occasional constipation, diarrhea, acid indigestion, abdominal cramps and gastrointestinal discomforts. Lactobacillus acidophilus is a friendly bacteria that exists in the body. Studies indicate that acidophilus may aid in the digestion of milk products, prevent some yeast infections and restore bacterial balance in the intestines. They can also be helpful to travelers and antibiotic-induced diarrhea. Apple pectin supports healthy digestion, promotes normal elimination, and cleanses the intestinal tract.
