Bilberry is an often-overlooked herb that possesses wonderful properties. It contains tannins, anthocyanins, and flavonoids. The berries and leaves are used for enhancing vision, particularly night vision, because of their potent antioxidant compounds. It has also been studied for its effect on microcirculation and particularly for its ability to support the vascular system of the eye.
Eyebright is used to enhance vision because it contains iridoid glycosides, flavanoids and tannins . We then add lutein and zeaxanthin which are antioxidants that protect the eye from the damaging effects of sunlight. Recent research suggests lutein works actively to protect the eye from age- related eye disorders. Combined with vitamin C and bioflavanoids, this product provides potent antioxidant properties, to protect your vision and eye structure.
